Asked
Questions
We want you to make an informed decision before buying any CBD products. We’re always happy to give any information related to our products, or CBD in general. Here are some of the most common CBD FAQ’s:
Can I Take CBD While I’m Pregnant?
It’s best not to consume CBD while you are pregnant, if you’re trying to become pregnant, or if you’re breastfeeding. There have been no long term studies about how CBD might pass through the placenta or interact with your unborn baby.
Does CBD Work With Prescribed Medications
If you have ongoing health conditions or you currently take any prescription medications, you’ll always want to consult your GP before you take any kind of health supplement, including CBD. It may be safe to take with your medication, but your GP will need to look at the details of the medication you currently use to ensure it is safe.
Does the CBD in Hemp Oil Make You High?
Our hemp oil contains a compound called CBD, and it is not something that typically makes people feel high. Many people have said it helps them to relax or, in higher doses, you may feel the same effects you feel with caffeine. In all cases, though, the goal is to help you move forward with your active life, and CBD Hemp Oil can help you do just that.
Is CBD Right for My Health Condition?
Our CBD Hemp Oil is a health supplement. We don’t make any claims about whether or not it can treat a health condition. In fact, if you have ongoing serious health conditions that you’re already under the care of a doctor for, it’s best to chat with your GP or physician to make sure that this is the right way forward. If you have questions or you’d like to learn more about what it can do for you, it’s best to turn to trusted sources to learn about how CBD oil, hemp, and other similar products might affect you. You can turn to educational sites like http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed to learn more or www.projectcbd.org.
How Long Does CBD Oil Stay Good?
The potency of CBD depends on how it is stored. After you open it, you should store it in your refrigerator. If you choose to store it in a place that has direct sunlight or in a place that gets warm routinely, it may not be as potent as it was when you first opened it. Our CBD oil, however, does not expire. It just becomes less powerful over time.
When Should I Take CBD?
There is no particular time that CBD might work best for you. Some find it helps them wake up in the morning and go about their day. Others find it helps them relax and let go of the day as they wind down in the evening. You have to decide what dosing strategy works best for your body.
What is the Difference Between CBD and CBDA?
You may have heard of both CBD and CBDA. CBDA is just the acidic form of CBD. When agricultural hemp is grown, it naturally produces both CBD and CBDA. When you heat the plant, the CBDA actually turns into CBD. Neither is better than the other, but some have found that CBD + CBDA works better for them. Because Cannabinoids can all word together differently, you’ll have to figure out what works best for you.
How Often Do Most People Take CBD?
Most people take their dose a few times a day. It’s best to do it when you have an empty stomach so you can fully absorb it before you eat again. Many choose to go two times a day while others go as many as three times a day (over a period of about nine to ten hours).
Can you use CBD for animals?
CBD oil is safe for pets, but start with a very small dose. Some people notice their pets dealing with dry mouth, increased blood pressure, and some drowsiness, but staying with a smaller dose should help eliminate those potential problems. If your pet has other health problems, always connect with your vet before trying CBD with your pet.
How much is too much?
How much you take depends a bit on what your order, but in all cases, it’s important to remember that you’ll want to move forward slowly. You can gradually increase the dose over time. The benefits of CBD can be extensive, but they begin very slowly because everyone is different. In fact, you may even have some trouble noticing those benefits at first. Most people begin with a dose of about 2 – 3 drops each day, but you’ll want to increase or decrease that dose depending on how it works for you. Stick with your initial dose for about three weeks to decide whether an increase is necessary.
How should you use CBD?
The single best way to take our CBD Hemp Oil is to put it under the tongue and hold it there for at least a minute. That allows the capillaries under your tongue to ingest the oil. Many people go ahead and swallow the oil, though, and while that’s a valid way to take it, you may notice less absorption because the acids in your stomach actually break it down a bit more. It can also leave a fairly harsh flavor in the back of your mouth should you choose to swallow it straightaway.
I Have a Drugs Test Coming Up. Will CBD Hemp Oil Show Up?
Most drugs tests are searching for the presence of THC. They use urine or blood samples to do so. While it is possible to have minute traces of THC show up in a drugs test if you use very large doses of CBD hemp oil, it’s unlikely. You’d need to be consuming it at a rate of more than 1000 – 2000 mg per day to create those kinds of test results. Keep in mind that people of different body rates, those with different metabolic rates, and those with lots of different lifestyle factors could experience some THC that shows up in drugs tests, but in all likelihood, you won’t find a positive result on a drugs test.
How Can I Identify Pure CBD Oil?
To ensure whether the oil is pure CBD oil you should check that it should be extracted utilising supercritical CO₂. Safe CBD oil is produced or created using naturally grown hemp and always check the label to check how much CBD you are getting so look for the concentration. Look for independent test results to check if the company verified it’s products by independent testing facilities.
